Web2.0 : trialling the systems

For some, reading about web2.0 technology would have been enough, and they would have acted in one of 3 ways :

  • stopped reading as they have no interest in it
  • read it, been interested, and gone on to find out a bit more
  • read it, been interested, and wanted to "have-a-go"

I, of course, fall into the latter of those three points.
So, after creating my blog - which you're now reading - I started testing it out.

So, things I've done so far :

  • changed the time & date settings found below each post to display only the time in 24 hour clock fashion
  • added a list of favourite website links to the subnavigation area (top left of the page)
  • set up an e-mail address for my blog, so I can post any entry from anywhere in the world from my e-mail account

The last of those three points (posting by e-mail) is exactly how this blog entry came to exist on these pages (or didn't display if I messed up!!)...

...I guess if you're reading this, it worked
